Welcome to the second NOCF raffle of 2018! We have partnered up with Wargames Illustrated, Gripping Beast, and KR Multicase to be able to not only run this raffle online, but also introduce wargamers at SALUTE 2018 to the good things that the NOVA Open Charitable Foundation does each year. We were inspired by the recent release of Saga 2.0 from Studio Tomahawk to create one of their most iconic war bands – the Vikings!
This raffle is for an elite 6-point Warband for Saga, and includes:

We have decided to delve into the realm of Shadespire for this first offering, and the team at Frontline Gaming provided the Ultimate Collection to make it a reality. We are sure that you will all love this professionally painted version of the brand new deck-building miniatures board game from Games Workshop!
Included in this raffle are:
• Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire – Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire is an action-packed combat game for two players. Build your warband, construct your deck, and defeat your rivals. Includes Steelheart’s Champions (3 Stormcast miniatures) and Garrek’s Reavers (5 Bloodbound miniatures);

The winner will be announced at the Las Vegas Open on January 28th, and then broadcast via our social media channels.

These incredible models, and their fellow raffle force, Dragyri Ice Caste, have a unique and very collectible history: They were flown from the U.S. to Ireland (and back) where Beasts of War (beastsofwar.com) used them produce promotional videos for CMoN’s Dark Age! These videos will be available at Beasts of War starting April 29, 2016.
This is also a unusual offering and a first for the NOVA Open Charitable Foundation as it partners with CMON EXPO 2016 in this charity fundraiser. Tickets will be on sale for just 30 days, from Friday, April 8, 2016 at 12:01am EST through Sunday, May 8, 2016, at 12:00pm EST. ST. ISAAC’S FORCE
Saint Isaac never considered himself a particularly religious man. His background has far more to do with technology than piety. Yet, when he rose to head the Forsaken military’s research and design division, the military pressed for his elevation to Sainthood on purely logical grounds. Only a Saint (with the Forsaken God’s implied blessing) could conduct the kind of research that Saint Isaac pursued.
The results have been formidable. Isaac’s forces consist of robots, controlled by human minds rather than treacherous artificial intelligences. Many of the machines are of his own design, but the most powerful juggernauts come from technology salvaged from the wasteland. Samaria’s barren landscape hold treasure troves of pre-Fall tech, and Isaac considers it his mission to bring all of it home to New Ashkelon.

The NOVA Open Charitable Foundation’s 2017 Fall Model, Warhammer 40K Commissar was donated & painted by David Faust; visit his facebook page for more work.
Leading men has never been a task this old Commissar desired, but rather a necessity to see his people come through. In the harsh battle field toxic dust and chemicals are almost more harmful than the enemy, but this grizzled veteran see it as a way to feel alive and thus has removed his gas mask, a sign of imminent death in one last glorious charge.

When asked to build the 2017 Warmachine army for the NOCF, it was immediately clear away that Cygnar was the way to go. Not only are they a force that is always sitting near the top of the gaming meta, they really are the traditional protagonist “heroes” and the most instantly recognizable force in the Warmachine world. With that in mind, a group of the most popular and recognized award winning painters in the WarmaHordes community were gathered to make it incredible. We also made sure to include a couple of painters who are known for their commission work in case the winner decides they wish to expand the army and still maintain the level of excellence in painting! These painters include Mat DiPietro, Privateer Press studio painter for a decade, and Sam Lenz, winner of the 2015 P3 Grandmaster Painting Competition, held at GenCon each year.
This is a full, 75-point army ready to play. None other than Marc Andre LeBlanc from the Canadian WTC team – arguably one of the best players in the world – devised the list so that it has synergies that will make it punishing for your opponents but with enough variety so that it is also an absolute blast to play!

The Horus Heresy (AKA Warhammer 30K) has really been gaining a lot of momentum over the last few years, so we decided it was high time we put some of the Artist Consortium on painting up some beautiful (and impactful) Horus Heresy-era armies.
This Sons of Horus army is made from a mix of Forgeworld resin models and GW plastic models. It runs around 2,000 points once tricked out with the various upgrades and wargear items.

This is a pretty brutal army, with its ability to deliver all of its models via deep strike (in one of the various drop pods or teleportation). Your opponent will need to spread out their firepower to cover all bases, which gives you an advantage of reducing the intensity in any concentrated area of the battlefield.
While the entire army looks great, we must point out that Joe Johnson spent a LOT of time on wiring up the Kharbydis Assault Claw for lighting. He has very cunningly hidden the battery storage in the heart of the pod, accessed through the engine exhaust at the top. This really adds to the centerpiece of an army filled with centerpieces.
This army really is great for both veteran Horus Heresy players and those completely new to games in the Age of Darkness.
