The Fisher House Foundation Thanks You!
The NOCF represents the world-wide tabletop wargamer community.
So far, in 2017, you, the tabletop wargamer have raised $48,000 for charities, $9,000 of which went to Fisher House Foundation. Many of you are active and former military, and we not only thank you for your support and donations to NOCF, but also for your service. Without men and women like you it wouldn’t even be possible for us to enjoy the freedom to play tabletop wargames.
Below is a thank you letter from Fisher House Foundation. This is the impact that you make when you purchase raffle tickets or come up to the NOCF Lounge and drink for charity, bid on Silent Auction items or make donations.

The Houston Food Bank Thanks You!
The NOCF represents the world-wide tabletop wargamer community.
So far, in 2017, you, the tabletop wargamer have raised $48,000 for charities, $5,000 of which went to the Houston Food Bank. Initially the Houston Food Bank was not one of the summer charities, but due to the massive damage caused by Hurricane Harvey in August and early September things changed and a dozen NOVA Open attendees living in the Houston area were forced to cancel. While at NOVA Open (August 29th – September 2nd) the NOCF Board of Directors heard about this and decided to run a one-day fundraiser for HFB; a great organization supporting the victims and families of the hurricane.
You all were extremely generous in your giving and we raised $5,000 that night. Below is a thank you letter from the Houston Food Bank.
