Sepulchral Guard are Underworlds warbands whose members are Deathrattle, led by the Sepulchral Warden. They are unlike those raised by minor necromancers, as Nagash's curse trapped their souls inside their forms, retaining fragmented memories of their past lives as their flesh rotted away. They petition Nagash for forgiveness in hopes of being freed from their existence in eternal agony.

Sworn to the service of Nagash, the God of Death, the Sepulchral Warden – a former Lord Marshal of Shadespire – directs his frenzied Deathrattle comrades to kill and kill again, desperately hoping to be freed from the endless agony of existence.
